Blind girl paints

When I lost my sight I lost my passion for art. But recently with the help of Sophie Nina I have started painting again! You can follow my painting journey on my insta Blindgirlpaints.

I paint what I can see, having type 2 blindness means I can see all the colours, a never ending always changing kaleidoscope. Before this at the beginning of my recovery all I could see was black but after 3 stem cell treatments I now have colour back in my life. Its not relative to the outside world, it’s coming from inside my brain.

With help of Sophie, doing art has given me the love and passion to paint again. Having a way to express myself creatively has given me back something that was always a big part of my life before I went blind. The paints the canvas the brush, it’s so overwhelming not being able to see but I want to show people what type 2 blindness is like, the colours and shapes that change everyday.

Life Death And Sweet Potato

I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I’d never walk, never see, never rebuild my life. They were wrong.

This book is my story—the raw, unfiltered truth of surviving trauma, fighting for a second chance, and proving that no matter how far you fall, you can rise again.

If you’ve ever struggled, if you’ve ever been told you can’t, this is for you.
