Do Something That Scares You

Recently Ive been pushing the boundaries of my limits to see how far I can go. This might sound silly but walking has been my aim since I was told I would never walk again. I find myself in the gym 4 times a week practising with my amazing personal trainer. Ive realised my fear is all in my head, the power of being told you can’t do something is under estimated and my legs would freeze up and I loose balance because the fear is holding me back. So Ive decided this year to do everything that scares me – so far blind boxing, walking, swimming have proved I can do anything and putting some serious hours in at the gym with a vicious PT that gets me on the treadmill even though its been a long time fear of mine after falling off mid run years ago before I became blind. So wish me luck as Im putting my body and my mind through all these tests to try and understand myself better and become my strongest self.

Life Death And Sweet Potato

I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I’d never walk, never see, never rebuild my life. They were wrong.

This book is my story—the raw, unfiltered truth of surviving trauma, fighting for a second chance, and proving that no matter how far you fall, you can rise again.

If you’ve ever struggled, if you’ve ever been told you can’t, this is for you.
