Me? Kick boxing?

I lost my personal trainer and if you know me you’ll know I love to exercise, its a big part of my life, I was at a loss for what to do. So in the end, I found a one to one boxing coach, bear in mind I have minimal mobility in my left hand and calcification in my hip which makes it difficult to stand never mind kick. Also, Im blind. I wrote it off at first, I thought I wouldn’t have a chance it can’t be possible. But then I thought, fuck it, I’ll give it a go. I tried it and I totally surprised myself, I stood unaided and actually kick boxed!!! The experience taught me that I need to stop with the self limiting thoughts and believe in myself. Never put your self down and think you can’t do something because lookout me a blind girl in a wheel chair signed up for boxing and smashed it. If I had listened to my inner voice at that point I would never have discovered that Kick Boxing is my new passion, its such a great work out and my trainer is absolutely lovely.

If you’re disabled don’t stop trying new things, you’ll find amazing people who can help you reach your goals and you’ll have great time doing it. Challenge yourself to do something new it might change your whole life!

Life Death And Sweet Potato

I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I’d never walk, never see, never rebuild my life. They were wrong.

This book is my story—the raw, unfiltered truth of surviving trauma, fighting for a second chance, and proving that no matter how far you fall, you can rise again.

If you’ve ever struggled, if you’ve ever been told you can’t, this is for you.
