I love life

Im in a really great place! Its not just the weather or my medication. I just feel so optimistic about the future and really enjoying making more friends and hanging out with my family. Its not all doom and gloom being blind, you still have music, gym, art, nature and friends who make everything better. If you would like to hang out let me know, the more the merrier.

Ive been revisiting a book I read when I was a teenager ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne, listening to it on audible it really has taken on a new meaning for me. How to think positively and manifest your dreams and its working. I went to a boxing class and pushed myself out of my comfort zone and by the end of it I was up kick boxing and walking, it gave me an amazing confidence boost.

You really can do whatever you set your mind too, don’t put yourself down! You can achieve anything, disabled or not.

I am concentrating on not dwelling on the past and believing my future self, the future self I WILL bring into being.

The founder of Fight Tales. Crazy by definition before and after she died (It’s a long term personality trait). Christy is addicted to vintage far out clothes and music, from Leonard Cohen to Iggy Pop. Always looking forward to wine o’clock hanging out with friends and trying not to act her age. Living life to the full after very nearly loosing hers!

Life Death And Sweet Potato

I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I’d never walk, never see, never rebuild my life. They were wrong.

This book is my story—the raw, unfiltered truth of surviving trauma, fighting for a second chance, and proving that no matter how far you fall, you can rise again.

If you’ve ever struggled, if you’ve ever been told you can’t, this is for you.
