What if?

My memory of the night I died is fuzzy. I won’t name names but a friend of mine had been staying on my sofa for a while, she was an absolute nightmare to live with. Parties, mess, stress, it all got too much for me but she had no where else to stay. She had a habit of getting kicked out of peoples houses and ended up in my beloved apartment, I was a last chance saloon for her. Coming across as very charismatic at first but when you cut through all the bullshit she was work shy and embarrassing.

To go back to the night I took the pills. We went to a bar together but I was staying sober ready for my flight the next day and if I missed it my mum would have gone crazy. To try and smooth over a row we had had earlier that day when I asked her to leave my flat we went for a drink. I didn’t trust her to stay in my flat alone while I was at home in Wales, I loved my apartment. In the bar we got chatting to some guys but she wanted to go home, I agreed but secretly wanted to stay. We walked home 5 mins around the corner and I told her again ‘you need to leave when I leave tomorrow’. I was seeing someone at the time, very early days but I called him to say good night, the next thing Im feeling Fuck it! Its time to go.

The Doctors found 50 plus pills in my stomach after I tried to kill myself. I would be fine now if she had called an ambulance when she first found me having seizures and foaming at the mouth but she waited 5 hours to call anyone. She waited 5 hours while I was dying in my bed. My so called friend! Watched me having seizure after seizure but still she waited. Finally she got her shit together and rang a friend who said call a fucking ambulance right now. I flat lined and then died in the ambulance.

Living life to the full after very nearly loosing hers!

Life Death And Sweet Potato

I was told I wouldn’t make it. That I’d never walk, never see, never rebuild my life. They were wrong.

This book is my story—the raw, unfiltered truth of surviving trauma, fighting for a second chance, and proving that no matter how far you fall, you can rise again.

If you’ve ever struggled, if you’ve ever been told you can’t, this is for you.
